| Sonora CA Real Estate Weekly Update for 11/15/07 This week in 2006, 14 properties went into escrow and 9 sold. During the past 7 days 12 properties went into escrow and 7 sold. Back in 2005 20 properties went into escrow and 16 sold .............. 555 residential properties are for sale from Pinecrest to Jamestown (Down 17 from last week) ................ 134 properties priced under $300k (down 6 from last week) 292 priced between $300 and $500k, (down 2 from last week) 16 Listings expired, 2 were withdrawn and 3 are TOM (Temporarily off the market). The average price during the last year for a 3 BR 2BA 2 CAR home is $367,325, down from $368,180 in last weeks Market Summary This week, the number of new escrows declined sharply from the previous week. However the average home price has risen slightly and the number of available properties seem to be steadily decreasing ..............In a buyers market you would be seeing the opposite, marked decreases in average prices and rising inventory......... For those of you who own property in Tuolumne County this is good news.......Buyers can also be glad because, there are twice as many homes on the market when compared with the year, 2004.
