| Sonora CA Real Estate Weekly Update 2/21/08 Prices remain steady again this week as inventory falls for single family Sonora CA Real Estate. Homes in Tuolumne County declined this week with a yearly average price of $331,863.* Residential home sales also continued to see - saw with just 3 closings (One higher than two weeks ago). Substantial cuts made in asking prices this week were in the upper market and a home that had been over priced for almost 2 years ago. The average price of homes in Tuolumne County strengthened to a weekly average of $381,667. Newly opened escrows decreased from the previous weeks 16 to 11. What is remarkable, even though this weeks’ volume fell significantly, it still out performed the previous two years. Decreasing inventories and rising buying activity are a good sign. These days Buyers are looking for a “good deal” however as an investor I would rather be buying in a market that is stable or rising as opposed to one that may still be falling. The “deal” you may think you are getting would just be an illusion if the market continued to tumble. Thankfully Real Estate in Sonora CA is holding it’s value.
